Gendering Transformations: Feminist Knowledge Production and Trans/national Activist Engagement

Notification of paper acceptance and Postponement of event

Dear scholars,

We are pleased to inform you that your paper based on your abstract has been accepted by the Review Committee of the Gendering Transformations: Feminist Knowledge Production and Trans/national Activist Engagement International Conference.  However, in light of the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the conference organizers have decided to postpone the event to 2021.

It was a very difficult decision to make.  The rescheduled dates, most likely in October next year, will be announced by the end of June, 2020.

During this challenging time, we appreciate your understanding and support.  We will keep you informed of further developments.  Should you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Sincerely yours,

Conference Committee,

Gendering Transformations: Feminist Knowledge Production and Trans/national Activist Engagement

Review outcome will be announced on May 20, 2020.

Dear authors,

Thank you very much for submitting your paper to the "Gendering Transformations: Feminist Knowledge Production and Trans/national Activist Engagement" International Conference.  Due to the large number of submissions, it takes a longer time than expected for the Review Committee to finalize the results.  We are working to accelerate the review process, and the final outcome will be announced by Wednesday, 20th of May.

We regret any inconvenience caused by this unexpected change, and very much appreciate the great effort you put into this event and your kind understanding of this difficult situation.

In a very short period of time, the coronavirus disease has grown into a global pandemic, and all are under its impact.  Though it is hard to predict the future development, we will continue to keep an eye on the virus situation.  We have confidence that the Conference will be held in Taiwan.  The Committee has also come up with an idea to maybe include gender-and-COVID-19 related issues.  We will also monitor COVID-19 developments closely.

Once again, thank you for your submission.  Should you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Best regards,

Conference Committee,
Gendering Transformations: Feminist Knowledge Production and
Trans/national Activist Engagement
